2.3 Ground Station Coverage
For the chosen date trajectory of Perun 1p is shown by animation. Red dot represent ground station and yellow dot Sun. Black dot is Perun 1p not being Sun exposed and white dot when it is. The red "circle" shows the extent of visibility of Perun 1p from the ground. Green line is the equator.

2.4 LEOP Sequence The separation of the spacecraft from the launcher is detected automatically by the separation straps and this triggers an automatic sequence to: Deploy the antennas Start Acquisition Mode communication protocols OPERATIONAL ORBIT

2.5 Reference Orbit The reference is circular orbit with the inclination angle of 60 deg. The Perun 1p does not have payload to control the orbit but apart from atmospheric drag there is no appreciable perturbation to correct it from the initial one.

2.6 Ground Station Coverage Gound station for the PDGS (Payload Data Ground Segment) in the operational phase is in Zagreb. Geographic location is 45° 52' N and 16° 23' E, at the elevation 158 AMSL. The station is designed for the UHF/VHF. The major horizon visibility obstruction is by the mountain north, elevation is around 10 deg. In all other directions there is no obstruction for the horizon.
Contact times with the Perun 1p for the period of 20 days, is shown in figure. Total of 149-time intervals of visibility are possible, most of them with the visibility interval 10-13 minutes. Various other inclination angles were investigated and 60 deg is the most optimal for the contact with the Perun 1p, more specifically Sun synchronous orbit gives much less visibility.

2.7 Eclipse Analysis
For this mission this event has no, or marginal, effect.

2.8 Constellations/Phasing
The Perun 1p has no capability to use this manoeuvring and there is no requirement for it.

2.9 End of Life Operations. De-orbit Strategy
The Perun 1p does not have capability for a forced de-orbiting, in order to comply with the requirements of maximum lifetime of 25 years. To comply with this requirement, the parameters of the orbit are decided upon so that by atmospheric drag enters lower layers of atmosphere and burn. As it was shown lifetime of orbit depends greatly on the activity of Sun as measured by the parameter F10.
